The Dimril Gate was a unique level in RTM, it required a new architecture style to be constructed which was then used in other areas of the game, it also had to feel grand being an entrance into the Mines of Moria.
I was responsible for creating the new architecture style as well as world building and set dressing. I also took the Dimril Door from blockout to final, refining the design, adding detail, and materials to meet visual and narrative goals. I worked closely with the Art Director and Lead Artist, taking on feedback and implementing it within a set time frame. I was also responsible for the lighting, this lighting is not representative of what you see in game as it has been enhanced specifically for the renders.
