LOTR: Return to Moria - Outer City Biome

Within this group of levels I was responsible for world building, set dressing and creating unique narrative building assemblages to assist with story telling. I was also responsible for the lighting, this lighting is not representative of what you see in game as it has been enhanced specifically for the renders. My favorite out of all of the renders here would have to be Balins tomb and the great Orc Gate. One is an important narrative moment for the players and the other has large architecture components making the player feel small within the mountain of Khazad-Dum.

I worked closely with the Art Director and Lead Artist, taking on feedback and implementing it within a set time frame. These levels started with simple design blockouts and then taken all the way to final art, working without concept art but instead relying on high-level direction and visual references to support the games vision.
